Parisa’s family emigrated to the U.S. from Iran in 1984 seeking a better life and opportunities for their young children. Parisa quickly fell in love with the Bay Area, where she chose to raise her own family. She attended Albany High School, then San Jose State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business before going on to complete coursework in Interior Architecture at UC Berkeley Extension. 

Both of Parisa’s daughters attended Berkeley schools; they graduated from UC Berkeley and University of Southern California. As a mother, Parisa leads by example, teaching her daughters that honesty and integrity are non-negotiable components of any career path they choose.
