As we all know, the buying a house in the Bay Area can be crazy. The only way to navigate the process is to have a realtor who you can trust is fully aligned with your goals. Having worked with Parissa twice previously, when it came time to sell my condo and buy a house, I knew that she would be with me every step of the way. From discussing neighborhoods to target, to working with my budget constraints when it came time to make my offer, to working through all the closing procedures, Parissa made the process smoother and manageable. And when she handed me the keys to my new house, I knew that if I ever needed to buy or sell another property, she will be the first and only call I’ll make.

I first met Parisa only a few weeks after my mom died, when I was having to face selling my parents' home. I was given her name by my mom's neighbor, someone I didn't know, so I didn't have much to go on besides a stranger's enthusiasm. It turned out the neighbor hadn't exaggerated at all: Parisa is highly professional, terrifically well informed about the real estate market, and above all a person of integrity. She showed both empathy for my recent grief and understanding of my particular situation: clearing out the house my parents had lived in for 30+ years and getting it sold while living 2,000 miles away. This all happened only a couple of months before the pandemic, so everything got put on hold. After I left, she personally took care of giving away what was reusable, called in a hauling service, and generally went above and beyond what any realtor would normally do for a client. And all the details were handled by Parisa while I was out of state. All I had to do was review and sign paperwork. I've asked Parisa to help me sell my house in Montclair in March 2012. I knew it was going to be difficult, not because my house was hard to sell, but it was because I now live in New York and can not physically be in Montclair. Parisa took the challenge and was able to sell the house relatively fast. She knew the market very well and is very experienced. When I asked when the offer will start to come, she told me exactly when and it was exactly right when we got the first offer. Parisa was not only my representative, she has also became my friend and confidant. During the entire sales process, I did not even go to California, we spoke often and she took care of everything. She managed the clean-up of the house and the landscape, coordinated with inspections and the resulting repairs, helped me staged the home, organized photo sessions with the photographers (please note multiple sessions) and the what seems to be countless open houses.
